The Boilerman Bar
The Boilerman Bar offers the perfect setting for social gatherings and invites you to linger and relax in its cosy atmosphere. It is appreciated by locals and tourists alike as an uncomplicated neighbourhood bar.
The highball drinks are the true stars of the Boilerman Bar. The alcoholic short drinks are created without a shaker and are served in frozen glasses with ice spheres the size of golf balls. Their diminutive appearance can be deceptive; the highballs are packed full of power!
The drink's name comes from the American railway industry. In olden times, the Boilerman would stoke the furnace when the highball signal to accelerate was given.
Today, it's the expert bar staff who get our guests really stoked up with their Gin Basil, Rye & Dry, and Bourbon highballs.
Events
Just like the legendary boilermen of the American railway who stoked the furnace to accelerate the train, we dial up the energy in our bar once or twice a month. The Boilerman Bar then transforms into a vibrant event location. From intimate live music acts and interactive sing-alongs to late-night DJ vibes. It’s the best way to experience our neighbourhood bar at its liveliest.
